Specialising in high class decorating for the 'designers' of the period – much of their work at that time was undertaken in conjunction with William Morris.
The elder son, Alex Green, continued the family tradition from 1919 and saw the company through a phase of considerable change and progress; so much so that by 1932 Alex Green was awarded major city contracts, which included the complete redecoration of London's Mansion House under the direction of the then City Architect Sidney Tatchell and Interior Decorator, Sydney Laughton. Even though the management may change over the years since, the quality and faultless resolve to uphold the founding principles of producing quality work remains as undiluted as before.
